90 Day Fiancé alum Big Ed was Catfished over 15 times!

Nev Schulman would have had his work cut out, as Ed ‘Big Ed’ Brown has apparently been Catfished a staggering 15 times!

The 90 Day Fiancé star made the heart-breaking confession about his “horrible luck” with dating during a recent interview with US Weekly

However, all hope may not be lost, as he hinted that his luck might have finally changed!

According to Big Ed himself, he has met a “wonderful girl”, who we’ll hopefully find out more about on The Single Life (yet another exciting 90 Day Fiancé spin-off) when it premieres later this month.

“I was on six different dating websites. I was Catfished over 15 times. I had horrible, horrible luck,” the 55-year-old told Us Weekly.

As for his new “wonderful” relationship, Big Ed teased that it’s still in its infant stages, and already has its ups and downs, so we’re excited to see how everything unfolds…

“We’ll see what happens. It’s still early,” he teased. “It’s kind of another roller coaster of a journey, somewhat like the Philippines.”

The Philippines incident refers to season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which saw Big Ed travel to The Philippines to meet 25-year-old Rosemarie ‘Rose’ Vega after the pair connected online. We witnessed the end of their relationship during an episode which aired in May last year.

The Single Life follows Big Ed eight months after his relationship with Rose ended, as he does everything he can – including hiring a dating coach – to find love again…

“The show really kind of just follows me through my journey of what it’s like getting back into the dating life,” he detailed.

“I hired a dating coach, which I got a lot of insight in who I am because one thing I revealed to her was who I wanted in a partner — you know, I wanted this, I wanted this and they don’t have to love me“, he continued to share with US Weekly.

“And she’s like, ‘Well, wait a minute. Why not? Like, why don’t you think you deserve love?’ So, for me, it was therapeutic. The show was really therapeutic. And I found somebody… She’s a wonderful girl.”

Ed continued to share a heartfelt conversation which he had with his new possible love interest. He added, “Day one, she’s like, ‘I’m not your fan.’ At first, it kind of hurt my feelings.” But then, according to Ed, she continued to say, “I want to know Ed. I want to date Ed, I don’t want to date ‘Big Ed.”

We can’t take the suspense!

We don’t have long to wait for Big Ed’s new romantic journey though, as 90 Day: The Single Life and The Single Life Pillow Talk will premiere on Discovery+ on Sunday, February 21st. The new series will be following past 90 Day Fiance’s as they dive back into the dating pool.

For now, check out the trailer below. Other than Big Ed, we will be seeing more updates from Brittany Banks, Molly, Colt, Fernanda, Danielle, and Mohammed. We CAN’T wait to see what they have all been up to!
