The Silva twins, Darcey and Stacey, are very well known for their appearances on 90 Day Fiance, but what you may not know is that the two gals have dabbled in the reality TV world prior.
Since starring on season 1 of Before the 90 Days in 2017, the sisters have been very popular with fans of the show, which led to their success of starring on their very own spin-off series, ‘Darcey & Stacey.’
Many fans only know Darcey and Stacey Silva from 90 Day Fiance, however, today we’re going to look back on what the twins did before being on 90 Day Fiance!
BEFORE 90 DAY FIANCE
Rewinding it back to 2010, Darcey and Stacey Silva filmed a pilot for their own reality TV show called, The Twin Life. The pilot took place in Connecticut and included their husbands (at the time), and younger children.
The introduction for their reality TV pilot summed up what the storyline of the show would be. The forementioned introduction is as follows: “I’m Darcey.. And I’m Stacey…We’re two busy moms and wives dreaming of making it in show-biz. Oh, and did I mention? We’re twins, and we live under one roof. There’s always a double dose of drama in our world. Welcome to The Twin Life!”
In The Twin Life super trailer, Darcey and Stacey introduce their now ex-husbands. Darcey’s ex-husband, Frank, was a supposed ‘up and coming’ rapper. Stacey’s ex-husband, Goran, was a professional soccer player from Serbia.
The trailer shows the Silva twins participating in social events, working photo shoots, fashion shows, as well as briefly touches on what their life is like in the show-biz industry, as well as their personal lives with their children and husbands all living under the same roof.

The Silva twins bring a whole lot of drama to 90 Day Fiancé and people can’t get enough of it. Other than starring on their own spin-off series, which we hope to see more seasons of, they’ve been on all four seasons of Before the 90 Days, Pillow Talk, 90 Day Fiance Self Quarantine, and much more.
Darcey Silva was on Million Dollar Matchmaker
Other than starring on The Twin Life, Darcey played just a small part on the WE tv hit reality TV show ‘Million Dollar Matchmaker,’ which was hosted by Patti Stanger, a famous self-proclaimed love-guru. The concept behind the show was to provide Patti’s matchmaking services to clients with impressive bank accounts.
These people employ Patti’s matchmaking services to assist them in finding them a life partner. Patti starts off by getting a better understanding of what the millionaire is looking for in their future companion, then has ‘contestants’ come to her office, where willing participants endure an extensive interview process in which people contend for a date with a proposed bachelor or bachelorette.
In 2016, Darcey Silva made an appearance on the popular show to try and get a date. Even though her time on the show was short lived, you can see segments of Darcey followed by the host, Patti Stanger, briefly interviewing her for the potential date.
“How would you like to date a man who is in his forties and has a gorgeous adorable daughter?” Patti asked, referring to the bachelor. Darcey responds, “I love children.”
Unfortunately, this was the last scene Darcey would be featured in. In the end, Darcey does not end up getting the date with the bachelor, yet this may prove to be for the best, otherwise we may not have had the opportunity to enjoy her on 90 Day Fiancé.
So, it seems Darcey Silva is not at all new to having television cameras following her around. We can only assume that all of the previous dabbling in reality TV undeniably helped Darcey during her time on 90 Day Fiancé in some way or another.
Now that Darcey and Stacey Silva have some success in show-biz, we hope to see many more seasons of their spin-off, “Darcey & Stacey”. I guess we will have to wait and find out what the future holds for them.
Aside from their TV ‘glow-up’, the twins have gone through a huge transformation since the beginning of their TV careers. Check out the following clip where Darcey & Stacey share their “mommy makeover” transfromation experience:
