Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou starred on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, followed by three consecutive seasons afterward. Viewers of 90 Day Fiance watched Nicole and Azan’s story from the very first time they met in person in Morocco, to the moment the couple got engaged in the Moroccan desert. Take a look below at the very first time the pair met in person:
As seen on the show, there were many obstacles during Nicole and Azan’s relationship, such as cheating rumors, family disagreements, as well as complications with Azan’s visa, which has made it difficult for Azan to move to the United States to be with Nicole. However, these many obstacles failed to stop the couple from pursuing their life together. They remain engaged and continue to put these road bumps behind them.
Currently, the lovebirds are spending some quality time together in Morocco. Since arriving on March 10th, Nicole has been sharing the trip on her Instagram account. The 90 Day Fiancé alum even hosted an Instagram Q & A, where her followers were able to ask a few questions regarding her trip. Check out some of the questions, and her responses, below:
90 DAY FIANCE NICOLE ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS
One follower asked… “No 90-day cameras with you this trip?” Nicole replied, “Nope.” If this is the case, it confirms that this trip to Morocco will not be featured on a future season of 90 Day Fiancé. According to Nicole, this is the first time that Nicole and Azan are seeing each other without all of the 90 Day Fiance cameras following them around. Nicole shared that she is going to be ‘vlogging’ her trip through her Instagram, so at least fans will be able to continue to follow their journey.
Many fans were disappointed to find out that there were no 90 Day Fiance cameras present during this trip. Someone on Instagram even commented, “I think I speak for everyone when I say: WHY NO CAMERAS?”
A follower asked on her Q & A, “Are you bringing May with you? Have a nice trip.” Nicole replied, “Not this time. She has school. She’s staying with my mom.”
Another fan asked, “How long are you staying?” Nicole replied, “I will be staying 2 weeks this time.”
Shortly after Nicole hopped on a flight to Morocco, a travel ban was enforced due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak. The Moroccan borders have been shut down to isolate the country and attempt to control the spread of the virus. This raises the question as to how long Nicole will be extending her stay. Surely, she is keen to see her daughter again very soon. Fans are worried about her well-being, but Nicole shared a recent update with her followers that provided some relief.
Nicole posted an update from Morocco stating, “Sucks everything is closed. I’m still in Morocco for everyone that wants to know. Not going home just yet. But I’m fine. We’re good.” The 90 Day Fiance alum posted her update with a photo that seems to be of Azan’s place.
Before the country went on lockdown, Nicole’s trip seemed to be going well. The quarantine has put a bit of a damper on the trip, but not their relationship, as they seem to be enjoying this time together.
The 90 Day Fiancé alum’s shared a few of their cozy moments on social media. Nicole shared their first photo from this trip on her Instagram on March 11th, captioned, “So happy to finally be with my love again.”
The next photo posted by Nicole was captioned, “Had a great night out the other day.”
On March 14th, Nicole shared a romantic photo of her and Azan’s night out. They went for a romantic, candlelit dinner and spent some quality time together while in Morrocco. In the photo below, you can see her showing off her beautiful engagement ring:
The couple struggles to make it official, even after Nicole went dress shopping for the big day on 90 Day Fiancé. If you recall from their season, the couple decided to put the wedding on hold and use their wedding funds to open a beauty store instead. The beauty store never opened, leaving viewers wondering what truly happened with this business venture. Regardless, it seems like they are still going strong, with or without the wedding.
In late 2019, InTouch Weekly reported that Nicole announced that she and Azan had no plans to tie the knot anytime soon. Nicole confirmed this through her response to an Instagram comment on her page. InTouch captured this response from Nicole:
“Azan and I are still together happily. We don’t have plans to get married officially at this moment because I’m doing my life here with May right now and he’s working doing his life there right now. That doesn’t mean we won’t, it means we’ll do it when the time is right for us.”
Although there seems to be some uncertainty surrounding their future, they are still very much together, simply living in separate countries. Will they tie the knot in the future? Only time will tell. For now, we wish them nothing but the best and hope Nicole can get home safely to little May as soon as she is able.
