Jesse Meester (Before the 90 Days season 1 & 2) and Tom Brooks (Before the 90 Days season 3) are both ex-boyfriends of 90 Day Fiancé star, Darcey Silva. If you’re out of the loop, Darcey made her and Toms split public on October 29th when she posted an Instagram video with the caption:
“Single and ready to mingle! Done with the past. Excited for what the future holds! Im ready for a sexy and manly Aussie! Let’s go down under! Will always keep my heart open to life and real love!”
Many fans of the show were shocked and blind sided regarding the news and there has not been any clear reason behind their sudden split. Darcey has been spotted filming for, what looks like to be 90 Day Fiancé, even after her recent season ended, so we have a feeling that we might all find out the details on a future season. Until then, the ex-couple has not spoken about each other publicly.
Both having dated Darcey, Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks have always had an underlying resentment against each other. They’ve had their fair share of indirect social media feuds throughout the time of Toms recent season of Before the 90 Days. Fast tracking to the present, now that both of their relationships with Darcey Silva are officially over, Tom and Jesse have made peace. How did this happen?
Tom began his outreach to Jesse by commenting under one of @90DayFianceNews’s recent Instagram posts about Jesse stating: “Jesse is a good guy….. I haven’t spoken to him but would like to … I owe him an apology.”
The next day, Tom was able to connect with Jesse. Nobody saw it coming, but they both put aside their differences and made peace once and for all. After the two became civil, Jesse released the following statement about the whole situation on his Twitter with the title, “#Before the 90 Days #Love #LiesLiesLies”:
“Tom did reach out to me and I accepted his apology. We had a good yet shocking conversation and found out we were both manipulated and played at the same time. Not surprising, but not less painful when you are trying to help and love someone when its really all a lie. She told him how bad I was and she told me how bad he was. Result: I thought he was a bad guy and he thought I was. Calls and messages right after me or him in the AM. Right after each other. It was a pattern. Almost professional. We both had our lesson and I explained why I never “warned” him and kept my mouth shut. It’s because I had to leave no room for her to point fingers, except herself. All though, while watching and hearing him, I truly felt bad for him. Nobody deserves this. The truth played out itself. Tom and I were both lied to. He had his lesson, as I had mine. I moved on from this but I want to put a message out there of hope for anyone who went through something similar. Please, be mindful of red flags. Read them. Understand them. And ask questions before falling deeper and deeper and losing your rational. We both helped and tried. And it only backfired. Now we are helping each other and have coffee. Good guy. God, truth and real love always prevails. Love you all.”
Since the split, Tom seems to be keeping busy travelling between New York City and Toronto and hosting many meet-ups with fans of the show. He has also been working on his fitness, and hasn’t been shy about showing off his hard work. He looks great. Check out a clip from one of his recent meet-ups in Toronto:
Now, fans of the show are waiting for Tom & Jesse’s coffee meet-up. That should be interesting…Who would like to be a fly on the wall during that conversation? It seems like it’s now team Darcey verses team Jesse and Tom. We will continue to keep you all updated on their unexpected friendship. What are your thoughts on all of this? Team Darcey? Or team Tom and Jesse?
